this is a photo of the beach right across from my home, and probably my favorite place
you can see that there is a huge tidal movement here, which is why the beach is so thick (as well as being about 6km long) and so clean. the sand is of the darkish colored, coarse sandstone grain (not one of those white sand beaches) and is bordered by orange and red sandstone cliffs about 2-3 stories high (which is obviously where the photographer was standing)
i love the place because what with the big tides, it is always swept clean of rubbish, leaf litter and even footprints, so most of the time when i go down there the only footprints on the sand are mine
also, because im in the tropics, the water is always warm (warm as in body temperature) so i often fish off the sand for hours in comfort. for all you know, that little figure in the picture might be me holding a handline (since chances are that the photo was take from the lookout, and i fish directly below taht most of the time)
i couldnt find any daytime pics of the beach, but sunset is my favorite time there anyway because the colors are so rich, and theres something nice about a warm breeze on your face
He he, not anymore. After the oil came, we became decadent, whealthy and full of sin. Granted, we still pray. Bu now we pray for that "fine ass over there, to give me some"

not too sure about that, I was at a bar on Saturday night and tried to order a scotch at 12.10am and was refused, as you are not allowed to sell spirits after midnight.
