Everyone over 40 check in please!

I am 47 and back in the gym after a two year lay off. It really bugs me when I see how much I lost. Diet was something I never really too serious about, but this time it's the number one on the list.

45 in June, feel 25 except for some joint pains, look 30 (so I'm told) put the youthfulness down to training for 25 years. Been outta shape for last 5 years (party lifestyle) now back fully commited to getting my BF down and shape back.
Sassy, you look amazing in those shots. Well done girl....
:)

Thx Ed! I keep in my mind that age = maturity + experience. Physical aging is a state of mind as well, but the maturity aspect means that I can be more intelligent in how I treat my body so it doesn't get beat up and start hindering my mental "age". The only thing I sort of regret w/ age is my intolerance for the idiocy (oK, lack of maturity) of people under 30. That's a broad stroke I am painting with here and there are shining exceptions, but generally, I just can't deal w/ the under 30 crowd and I probably come across as a complete ass, but I'm soooo done being the babysitter who doesn't get paid....

Great philosophy. My wife is 31 and my job involves dealing with the 18 to 26 year old age group so I've gotta be tolerant. You certainly look 10 years younger than you sugest and that's in contest shape!!! and I've always found anyone in contest shape actually looks older :worried: My main problem is coming to terms with how much fat and water I've actually accumulated over the last 5 years and it wasn't until I've seen how hard it is to shift this time that I've realised age must be playing a part. But the fight goes on.... :artist:

For those of you in the fifties. I am looking forward to that decade, but tell me: How's the libido?
You want the car to last, just warm it up a little before you drive off. :D

Mrs. Digger turns 60 next month, but for heaven's sake don't tell her I told anybody!

Hello All,

I'm 75. Been working out about 20 years off and on. In pretty good shape, have no health problems except underactive thyroid. Been using AAS for several years. Active in my construction company every day with no intent of retiring in the near future, enjoying the work too much.l Take on a daily basis, about 30 health supplements. My last blood tests, several weeks ago, indicated no problems. I believe in: getting proper rest, getting proper exercise, staying active and continuing to learn, and having a happy home life. (married to same person for 48 years. 8 children, 8 grandchildren).

I do use hearing aids and eye glasses. So for all you young guys, life can be very good at 75 and older.

Keep pumping
