All minorities fight dor their rights. I'm not denying anything either. I'm just telling you facts. If a Sikh (Indian religious man) can get away with not wearing a helmet in construction sites and while on motorcycles and get special treatement from the police because of their religious beliefs, then muslims can get their rooms. Besides, I really doubt they would've given those girls rooms, were it not that the rooms were requested by several women for privacy issues. The US is not THAT open-minded.

But lib universities are.

Remember when they really tried to learn the language and were proud when they could communicate fairly well in english??? My what a difference 20-30 years makes.

My family sponsored a family of 17 Vietnamese back in the early 70's. We gave them a place to live and every one that could, went out and worked doing something. They did their best to learn english and assimilate into American society. They kept their own traditions of course, but they were glad to be in America.

It was tough for them for a while, but they saved as much as they could and bought a house when they could. They tried many times to give my parents money, but they wouldn't take any. So, every time my birthday rolled around, I got cash from the father. He would give it to me all secret like, away from my parents and tell me to save it.

That family has done pretty well for themselves. Several of the kids went on to college. I think one or two of them own their own businesses. I don't ever remember any of them crying about wanting any special rights. They were fleeing a country where they had very little individual rights, and no rights if the gov't saw fit to take them away. They were happy as hell to be somewhere where they had a fair chance like everyone else.

What the fuck has happened to that America?

The left happenned

Simple. The hijab could limit quick turning vision and the ability to run. Try wearing a scarf and running all out vs no scarf. You tend to breathe easier when there is no scarf.

As well, there is the matter of a soccer uniform. At one soccer game, one of my kid's friend was kicked off the team because he wouldn't take off his bracelet. The rationale was that the bracelet could scratch other players.

In either case, I didn't really care because the soccer club was a private one and I could choose to pull my kids out of the league if I didn't like it.

If the muslims want to have a league, then they could either scan all leagues to find one that allows for the hajib (ahead of joining) or make their own to allow it. Don't join one, then complain when you don't like the environment.

Ex fucking actly

it's the little girl's freedom to wear the hijab if she wanted to. It's utter bs. It doesnt effect her playing. give me a break. Do you really believe that?

Anyways, if the girls want to workout, they could go to another gym that has a private room for women. They don't NEED to change the whole university rules for that.

And it is the private leagues right to enforce their rules that they made before she joined the league right?

But nothing in the rules stated that she can't wear a hijab. Making up a rule on the spot is un-called for.

Uniforms? Does this word not mean the same? That all people on th team had to war the same uniform? What rule was made up on the spot. It was not part of the uniform. She either take it off or leave.

LMAO!!!! I guess I am the only one postin in this thread right now. BWAHAHAHAHA
