Traz...I don't think this 'Draw Mohammed Day' is about bashing Islam so much as it is an exercise to illustrate how ridiculous it is to try and kill everyone who insults that religion. EVERY other religion takes it on the chin from comedians/cartoonists/haters every single day, and there aren't whacko death threats about it.

Guys lol...I DO think Pakistan's decisions are rediculous...believe me...just because I'm muslim doesnt mean I'm not perfectly integrated in western society and have been living under "western' laws for a looooong time...

I just thought the pictures were tasteless and holy men and prophets deserve respect....be it moses or jesus or mohammed

We can all bash terrorists together...hell, you probably dont know, but as a kid growing up I was kidnapped by a local terrorist-wannabe.....he then spent the rest of his life in jail...but we're all affected by those assholes who pretend they're doing God's work....I think they should all be senteced to death

All I ask for is to take into consideration that generalization is a bad thing and that there are good "religious" people out there....if people become terrorists that doesnt mean that the teachings or Jesus and Mohamad are to blame....it just means people have chosen the darkness over the light and they are certainly not fit to run a country let alone be out of jail

my take is this.
if a cool bro, like traz for instance, asked me kindly
not to draw mohammed because it offended him i would not draw it, respecting
his feelings.
i'm not out to offend peeps...but if someone threatens me
and tries to dictate what i can and can't draw, then i'm gonna draw it
out of spite and to show that i can.

Lotsa ignorant people out there....

If I were "them" I would've sent a polite letter to southpark explaining the reason why that was offensive and why i feel the need to not have that issue brought up again....i'm sure that would have put "them" in a much better position and made things lot easier....diplomacy seems to be lacking in countries often rules by religious regimes, it's sad really....I know i'm from that region of the world.

That's why I moved to Canada. I wanted a better life.
