EMEGENCY I need help, mother needs transfusion

my good friend..

personally, i wouldnt take the chance giving my mother my blood.

my prayers bro.

yes i use clean method of injection and i NEVER would evenconceive of sharing a needle. the thought of the AAS being a bennefit has crossed my mind, i know HIV patients use some AAS and hepatitus is alot like HIV. I will have to grit down and open the table to coversation on my AAS use and see if it is a concen with the doctors. I know that ess than 1 % of the state i reside in has B- blood, so a second donor is unlikely, If the doctors feel ity is essential then they'll have to make that decision, your right silent, i shouldn;t take the word of any one on the net that i can't sit down qwith and get paper on their backgrounds. I will keep upping this post and let every one know what the doctor says tomorrow when i consult with him. i figure that their is 8 pints of blood in the body(i think) and i do well oer a gram a week off aas so i would be hooking my mother up with like 300mg of juice. that might be alot of a chemo patient, might not be. i don't know, thanks for letting me vent or reach out for answers when all i needed to hear was " ask a doctor"

i would still like to see some of the DR.'s replies. THANKS again method

Don't do it, I had this discussion with a friend of mine who is a doc a couple of weeks ago. This could really be damaging.

Even if you not worried about infection. Even if your steroids are all Doctor perscribed you cannot donate.

Blood cannot be donated utill 3dy after the last oral steroid and 3dy after an IM injection.

My thoughts are that injecting steroids is a moot point, that rule applies to addicts that share needles.
I don't think that the steroids in your blood will hurt your mother, in fact I'm nearly positive. BUT I AM NOT A MEDICAL DOCTOR, so I am only giving an educated guess.
My major concern would be that your blood hematocrit (rbc count) may be highly elevated because of the eq and this may cause the doctor to question you as to why.
Once agin I don't think that this will be of a major concern either.
I would state to the doctor that you are concerned because you have been pounding prohormones for the last few months, as the blood matabolites for many PH are the same as some steroids, you are covered as far as legal implications. If the doctor then deems that it is necessary he will do the appropiate tests on your blood. Let us knows how things workout.

best of luck to your mother.

but no way should you give blood IMO, and the idea of trying to medicate her through the juice that is in your veins although with the best intentions, is just insane. You can go in, and then tell them not to use the blood. You can also say that you were slightly anemic (the blood floats instead of sinks when they drop it in the tube) so couldn't give, if you need an "excuse" if you decide not to donate, or they disqualify you.

If you're on proscar/propecia(finasteride) or avodart(dutasteride) you can't donate either.

again, hope everything goes well for your mother.

gawds gift, i would fully advise the docs about your use so they can consider the possible complications of transfusing your mom with blood that is obiously way over the limit with male hormone and whatever oter by products and metabolites of the aas. i do not know what region you are in but generally, there is going to be a local blood supplier that will likely have plenty of blood to be put to use. while you have a blood type that is relatively rare (1.5% of the population), your mother is also able to receive O- blood and 7.5% of the population has that type. when there are emergencies (gun shots, car wrecks, disasters) and there is no time to type a person, they are given O neg blood because every person in the world can receive that type. there are no antibodies against it. people with this type blood are, therefore, highly sought after because they are "universal donors". many blood collecting organizations allow people to donate, no matter what the type, and "cover" one or two people. that means that if that person needs blood, they will get it at a greatly reduced cost. there is usually enough o neg to go around. that same organization will also telephone known donors with a needed blood type when there is a need for it. i have been called before to donate when babies are having surgery and need my particular type blood (A+ CMVnegative). i sincerely hope you find some answers. remember, it is not up to only you. contact the people in that business and they can probably help out.
