The reason I "click" around here is hopefully it will get back to normal, I really did like elite and maybe it will get good again, so many people are starting new boards and it just gets kinda boring when there's only like 5 people active at one time-BTW, have you competed recently SAF, you have a good physique the last time I saw a pic
The board has it's ups and downs. Sometimes certain topics are hot, new and exciting. Others have been played out for most people, but others that are new to the game may just want to talk to someone about a subject that has been posted a few dozen times.
Yes the info is in the search engine, but they may just want to talk.
I like the fact that there is always someone that will post"If you don't like then leave" in a thread such as this.
Apparently you may only voice an opinion if it's the same as these guys opinion. Then your OK!
Times will change when someone comes up with a new theory and it will be debated. It's exciting threads like those that make me put up with all the other threads that have been gone over a few dozen times.
And so talking about your latest stint in the county jail on the ANABOLIC board is what makes this board great?Like the others said Holmes, this site is FREE,and that means your FREE to come or go,but if you're planning on staying, why don't you try and contribute something worthwhile, rather than being the 3 millionth poster to post this exact, pissing and moaning,"Elite is turning to shit" thread, which gets posted about every other day.As far as the l-dex "being great for me",no,it's great for the folks that are happy that they saved some cash and didn't get ripped off on a very popular item. What "gets old" to me and everyone else who's been around here for an extended time is posts like this, where someone who isn't spending a thin dime to be here has to put the site down.Who pissed in your wheaties today?lol
I'm relatively new to the board but although there may be a lot of bitching going around, you're free not to read posts that don't interest you. Personally, if I sift through posts that are of no concern to me and concentrate on the ones which add value to my knowledge, I'm happy. I have learnt more from the experiences of vets from this board than I could ever dream of picking up from books, articles or by using google. In addition, the mods have been incredibly helpful. I would not be where I am today without their assistance - which, btw, is FREE. We don't pay for consultations. The only reason I went Platinum is so I can, in some small way, repay the efforts of those who keep this board up and running.
