If you know what I'm talking about, then post up! Who will be there, when do you get there, do you want to try to set up a happy hour or meet up at some place in the Expo at a particular time?

This is the largest bodybuilding & sports festival / expo in the US. People book rooms a year in advance so don't "think about going" and expect to get a hotel anywhere near the venue at this point.

Its a 2 day freak show but its a lot of fun. Great chance to see all the pros and a whole pile of other sports, e.g. strong man, Gracie fighting, UFC and all sorts of children - high school competitions like dance, cheerleading, archery, gymnastics, etc.

If you mean the one in Columbus, I'll be there. Hard to pass up the freebies, the ladies, the games, and of course, the steep discounts on protien.

I left at the last minute and arrived in columbus at 7am or so friday morning
had driven all night on my own mix of meridia,yohimbine and ephedra
I slept about 2 hours and then headed to the expo
I don't think I ate for 3 days
oh yeah there was a gyro I got at about 4am outside some strip club sunday morning

I'm in akron, so it's a relatively short trip for me. Been there a couple times.......not sure if it would be worth flying across the country though........it wasn't that cool. But within driving distance......it's not a bad way to spend some time. I actually have a pretty funny story from the last time I went. This must have been in 01 or 02, can't remember.......but me and friend of mine walked up to one of the booths where there was a UFC fight being shown on a screen. This was back when they didn't stand guys up after a couple minutes on the ground......so after 5 minutes of watching one guy mount and penetrate another guy (seriously, it looked like they were having sex)......we started cutting up on the fight and the guys fighting. After a couple barbs, I noticed out of the corner of my eye that somebody was staring at me real hard like.......after a little sideways glance, I realized the man sitting there was the same man in the fight, and the same man whose giant cutout billboard was right behind the television........oh yeah, Mr. Rany Couture himself. Well, my friend didn't have my observational skillz......and he continued his gay mockery of the fight. At this point I'm not looking in Mr. Couture's direction AT ALL.......and I'm nudging my friend ever so slightly to get the fuck moving. Fucker actually looked at me and said "what?".....and tried to keep running smack. Finally I just walked him the fuck out of there.......trying my damdest not to bust out into tears, lest a certain somebody hop over a certain countertop. If it hadn't been the arnold I think Randy might have had my friend in a key lock right quick. But at that time he was more known for throwing hands.....so he probably would have slept both of us.

I can sort of take or leave the Expo & personally have had my fill of the BB competitions by this point - I've gone to the Arnold 3x and last year I worked the expo as one of the major sponsors & got my pic w/ Arnold. The bigger attraction is to meet up w/ people I only get to see 1-2x /yr. Seriously, would ANYONE pick to go to Columbus, OH in the middle of winterspring? Hell no. But for chill w/ my girls & the other studs & studdettes, you bet!
