this would be a great idea imo
this is how it could work...we get people signed up into it, then each person picks a book when it's their turn. when someone picks a book, the rest go to amazon and order it.
then we can discuss the book as we read it and get deeper into the topics.
be a good idea, though we'd have to make a rule outlawing daniele steele type of books

lol, so far today i've drank a pot of coffee, eaten a few times, blew a load in our shop bathroom, and posted here
all on the clock

meh, personally i wouldn't care if i had to wait to pick
i read fast, about 2 books a month, but yeah i could see how if we had 20 people you could wait a couple years to pick a book.

I can see how having 20 people would make the official book club threads more interesting. So I changed my mind, open it up to as many as possible, but I'd like to pick within the first 5 please! Call me a charter member or something.

I'm a book worm and would also LOVE to do this but I'm reading so many books now for my courses, that I can't fit any more books in.
I'm jealous.........But i will keep my eyes peeled on the thread about the books.

I'm in, reading the singulatrity is near by kurzweill and will post some of his ideas soon bout what 2030 is gonna look like, with nano, ai, and internet as virtual reality... awesome, but scary stuff, kinda anyway. But yeah eveytime I read something I have some compulsion that everyone has to know what its about, so this would be good, I mean peeps are annoyed at work, on campus, so yeah, this would only benefit peeps... lol
