As a bodybuilder I eat a lot of course- six to seven meals a day, three squares and three to four high protein snakes (shakes and protein bars). My girlfriend thinks this is "crazy". She says I don't need 1.5 to 2 grams of protein per pound to grow and that there are scientific studies that prove that eating too much food, a bodybuilder's diet in other words, puts ondue stress on the digestive system and the result is a failure in health and an early death.
I'm NOT saying she's right. Any thoughts on this? Any one else get this from the people that care about them?
