Does anyone know why EQ causes anxiety?

It's funny, I am prone to anxiety and panic attacks, yet most gear that is supposed to exacerbate these feelings have no effect on me. Eq doesn't touch me and test actually makes me calmer.

i mentally tear myself apart it gives me appearance anxiety and social anxiety
