NO IT IS NOT POSSIBLE! There is NO way to travel through time! Anyone who thinks so is just kidding themselves!

If time travel was possible someone would have already come back and told us about it, and how to do it.

I have never met anyone travelling from the future to our time. If a time travel prototype (e.g., send a mouse back 15 seconds) were to be developed at some point in the future -- say 5100 AD --, by 5300-5500 AD travel back by thousands of years by human tourists would be probable.

If we haven't met such travelers, either time travel doesnt exist, or these "tourists" are a hulluva lot more disciplined than today's tourists anywhere, or they are out of quantum phase with us, and at most can look but not "touch" us in any way, shape, or form.

There could be lots of parallel universes. It's been theorized that there are 7 additional dimensions formed at the time of the Big Bang, but for various reasons, never grew to beyond Planck's length (10 exp minus 33 m or something like that) Thats a lot of permutations each of which may be spinning off a 4-dimensional universe -- some like ours, probably many more totally lifeless or without any form we'd recognize.

I think that we have mnet such time travellers. They just aren't happy about that. UFO's might NOT be alien spacecraft, they might be time travellers from the future. I mean, who is hurt and what is changed if some lil ssaucer appears and flies around some place?

Did you notice that saucers often appear near some interesting events "moonlanding, hiroshima, world war 2, in medieval times, and during christs birth" ? An excellent event for time travllers to observe.

UFO's in my opinion are a great vehivel to go through time. You are in no danger of being discovered and you don't have to worry about loosing your time machine, or getting killed....



And 4th dimension is time. Its mot rerally a dimension like we percieve it to be. By going into it you WOULD NOT discover some other plane. NO! Yoiu would just be displaced to another time.... plai nand simple!

If some of you believe in this time travel shit, then how come you are not funding the research? The strange things there are plenty of people like those assholes on the Hill with plenty of money to fund these projects.

It's kind of like asking for contributions for research into the number one killer of humans, "Natural Causes". And you know what. I'll bet I could get some dummy to ante up.

That is obviously WHY TIME TRAVELLED ain't researched by major firms.

Actually no they wouldnot. If you went back in 12th century for your history research, would you come to some bum and tell him that you are froim the future? NO! You try to be as hidden as possible and out of reach with them! You don't have to tell them you are a time traveller.

And flying craft of some sort is a perfect diversion! iT IS SAFE and prevents anyone from finding you out. And if some people beleive that you are god/alien/angel, then who is hurt, right?

DId you read "The Time Machine" ? Then you would know exactly why you can';t just travel in time in a car or a chair. You need a flying vehicle or so. You don't want to alter historical events or risk your life!

How the hell can someone say that moving at the speed of light is going to slow down time?? Someone pulled it out of their ass and people actually believe it!

If you get in a car holding a stop watch and hit the light speed button, is the stopwatch going to know how fast you are going and change it's timing mechanism accordingly? Does that stopwatch give a shit how fast you are moving? NO!

T(you) = 7.08888888

Time is therefore moving 7.088 times faster FOR YOU

And EXPERIMENTS HAVE BEEN DONE! People put 2 perfectly synchronized atomic clocks one in a spaceship and another was on earth. Spaceship was moving veruy fast, AND GUESS WHAT!

The time was different! Ship has travelled into the future! (few milliseconds or so, nothing much). BUT IT PROVES THAT THE TIME TRAVEL IS POSSIBLE!

sorry, the progression of events is linear. We go from event A to event B. I'm not saying going from event B to event A is impossible, but it doesn't happen naturally therefore "time" is linear. And what exactly are "wormholes" and how do they "bend" gravity?

Alex, gravity is constant, no two ways about it. You can counteract gravity by applying an opposite force, but gravity itself will not be affected unless you can somehow manage to effect the spin of the earth. So "anti-gravity" is a misnomer, it just represents a force capable of opposing gravity. And you're losing my on those 'tachyons' bub........do I have to consult a Star Trek techie guide??

I am glad that you are interested in tachyons! They are not from star trek (I hate star trek btw). There are FASTER THAN LIGHT PARTICLES (FLT). So in essence they travel BACK in time, since they move faster than light (and never AT or slower than light).

Infact I heard that some scientists are seriously researching them in order to find the way to travel back in time...

Ahh... If I could only convert myself to light I would be in the future, and convert myself into tachyons then i would come back to 2001 AD.
