I got bored at work one day and discovered the internet. I go online when I get bored. That's really about it. Most of the people I know on facebook and mysapce are extremely outgoing. I think there are certain facets of the internet that draw certain people, but making a general comment about the net like that is retarded. Some people get bored easier than others and need more stimulus. Your friend maybe isn't very smart and so finds himself easily entertained no matter what. Much like a dog. Dogs don't go online either.
