are you kidding? I wash my hands BEFORE I touch my penis!!! I KNOW where my penis has been. It's been in my pants (usually) and away from all outside germs. My hands however, have been touching door handles, counter tops, other people's hands, and whatever else necessary. My hands are constantly touching things covered in germs while my penis is safe in my pants. I wash thoroughly before touching my clean penis and give a quick rinse after.

Washing hands frequently (whether using the WC at home or in public or just because my hands feel *unclean*), not allowing people at work to use my phone or computer - all of these will help stop pesky little nuisance buggers from entering your body. Think about how many times a day you put your hands/fingers near your eyes, nose, mouth, ears. Your skin is your bodies first line of defense from unwanted intruders.

I am far from a germaphobe. It's all just basic biology.

And the soap you use is far less important than the fact that you run water over your hands. It isn't the soap that cleans them. The soap only acts as a luge. It is the water that actually cleans. *thanks to the Magic Schoolbus and Ms Frizzle LOL
