do you guys think traps fuck up your posture?

Good points gentlemen. The only thing I would add is;

Traps are a pivotal muscle area to develop. Strength and development there will make you more powerful overall.
In the last three months I have really hit the traps hard. 2 and sometimes 3 times a week with dumbells in the seated position. They are growing fast and my bench press and military press have gone up as a result. I first read about working the traps to increase your bench in college but I never took any truth to it. I truly do not believe everything I read. It does infact work.
As far as looking like a silverback. If it will make me stronger, I don't mind looking like an ape. Pass me a banana.....lol

how tall are you? you look like you dont have much trouble "stuffin" it from a distance...especially for a white boy? or is there a trampoline i'm not seein? :confused:

I'm 6'-4" 235. There is absolutely no trampoline in the equation. lol.

I have a 41 inch vertical. It is natural ability. Plyometrics may have given me an inch or two but not too much. I first dunked when I was in 8th grade. I was 5'-8". Two hands!

My father who is 6'-6" and about 300 pounds had a 39 inch vert when he was younger. He is a freak of nature though. I don't have quite as much as he does but I have enough.

What about you? You getting up?
 
i was always one of the best jumpers growin up...but nothing compared to that...i can barely get my wrist over the rim but w/ a ball in my hand i cant quite do it...i havn't tried lately but i've been doing ALOT of toe lifts...i'm 6'1 btw and that 8th grade thing is impressive...i always wanted to throw it down when i was younger but its not so important any more especially since i dont play

The first time I dunked a ball I was in 8th grade. It could have been in 7th grade but I did not understand the mental powers we all have. When you jump, forget you have a ball. Forget about getting to the rim. Focus on a higher object, like the square on the glass. I bet you will be up there in no time.
Metnal trickery can work. You would be suprised to see what your body can do when you do no limit yourself!
 
Big Traps are Good!!!!!!!!!!! Screw those prissy chicks and get a real woman that can handle a real man.
