Go for it, sparky, you go right ahead and drink that Kool Aid.
Frankly, unless you have special reasons for concern I think eating a balanced diet, taking a good multivitamin and being extra kind to yourself when you start to feel like something may be coming on does far more good than a dozen flu shots. There's a lot to be said for recognizing you have a tickle at the back of your throat and, instead of ignoring it, you pop a gram of vitamin C, some elderberry and zinc and hit the sack early.
My husband works in a very public environment, he's never gotten a flu shot and he's one of the healthiest people I know
