ROFL! I was referring to land animals but I'm sure matt will show up with a cocky little response.
Not trying to sidetrack any bombing runs, but, why did you find this post funny (plankton), & not Matt's? I think they were both in the same vein & both were funny.

i must say.. whether i hvae no place to stay and no money.. id walk the fuck out of the city and stay in the streets somewhere else b/c my life is worth way more then my pride
This is easy for you to say, when you're young, healthy, & not there.
These peeps have prolly lived a lifetime in one neighbourhood. It's human nature. History is filled with people who did not want to give up their life. & for those that survived, their life is over, as they new it, for many years anyways. Sometimes these stories are the stuff of legends & heroes. Sometimes they're not.
Not to be judgemental, but from what I saw, a lot of the people getting rescues were from low income neighbourhoods. If you're 50 or 60 years old & your only option is to go live on the streets. that's a different choice than what us younger folks have.
I really cannot begin to comprehend the tragedy here. Seeing the video, seeing the news, thinking about all the social, political, & economic upheaval for that entire region.
BTW, I don't know if they are doing this, but I think looters & criminal elements trying to benifit from this should be stood against a wall & shot. That's different from people scrounging for food.
