do you always have to be right?

LOL, No! I don't but my DH does. He freakin loves to debate about everything and is ALWAYS right, lol.

Just remember that he is ALWAYS right.

i dont mean be right in opinion or fairness arguements, but in stuff that is sequence of events, such as "you did that, then i did that, u did that, then i did that, so we are even" (thats just an example).

in situations where you cant just say "agree to disagree, its opinion", do you argue untill you get your point across or the other person backs down?

or do you make a neutral statement to shrug off caring?

or do you back down and let the person think they are right when they are clearly wrong and just makeing shit up and being a faggot?

nope. Perfectly happy to agree to disagree. Some things just aren't worth getting into a fight over.

laywer--always right and always wrong--just depends on your perspective
thats a good point. so you just have get everyone else on your side.

it sucks because the one kid who was there and saw it all just laughed because we always point out how our dumber friends literally forget stuff or make the dumbest nonsensical arguements but just stick by it so long.

and the other friend was like "yeah you were arguing", saying i was wrong when th eother kid started the arguement about the dumb snowball fight. but that kid always says the opposite of what i say because we are roomates and roomates always end up fighting alot and have to disagree with eachother (when you are a simple minded idiot like he is)

lol!!! cheater, i dont mean over things that are opinon where you "agree to disagree"

i mean factual laid out solid things. like the sky is blue. or we made a left turn. or the earth goes through patterns of heating and cooling, or that you drink water to get undehydrated

i am not sure why, but agree to disagree is such an alan alda wuss phrase---damnit--the proper follow-up to such a a statement is Rochambeau til the death

Even then. It just isn't worth it to me. I can't say I've ever argued with someone about something clearly factual, though. But even in cases where I might have, I'm far more passive. I have my opinions, and I am strong in them, but I keep them separate from those close to me. I care...a lot. But do I feel the need to convert people around me to my line of thinking? No.

read my example and tell me how you would have handled the situation?

"sorry dude, you are wrong"

or "it just didnt happen taht way"

what line do you use, that doesnt cause them to say something back? or they say "your an idiot and blah blah" say like 2 or 3 untrue things, you just say "okay yeah" or nothing at all to shut them up?

and let them think they are right? hmmm that doesnt EVER work. guess im not hot enough :(
