do you always have to be right?

i dont mean be right in opinion or fairness arguements, but in stuff that is sequence of events, such as "you did that, then i did that, u did that, then i did that, so we are even" (thats just an example).

in situations where you cant just say "agree to disagree, its opinion", do you argue untill you get your point across or the other person backs down?

or do you make a neutral statement to shrug off caring?

or do you back down and let the person think they are right when they are clearly wrong and just makeing shit up and being a faggot?

unfortunately yes, I always have to be right.

i personally end up arguging untill i piss the person off (even though im probably more pissed becuase im being wronged), or i just shrug it off but still say stuff to try and make the person feel like shit for being wrong and a douche.

sometimes im like "i dont care" but then they keep on arguging their incorrect bullshit.

it really pisses me off when its so obvious someone is wrong and they have to be mentally retarded to think/imagine what they are to the point that im not sure if they are trying to trick me or not, so i have to argue just incase

same here. i feel like it makes life alot more stressfull than it has to be. but i get personally hurt by friends too easy to let them get away with shit, because i know if i didnt know someone that well id just tell them to fuck off.

i always assume i can explain why they are wrong, when really the most effective/least stressful thing is to make fun of them or be witty untill they backdown. but i always give my friends the beneifit of the doubt and try to use logic. but that always ends up to a bigger arguement than if i would just pwn them from the beginning. but it sucks if you care about the person cause you dont want them thinking you are a dick.

i feel like most people i interact with (there is a good handful that are able to use logic and not be retarded though, and are capable of deeper thinking who are always refreshing to be around) are just very simple. i dont know any other way to put it

nah i dont mean debates or questional opinion stuff.

this is just an example that happened:

snowball fight, i wasnt really getitng involved someone hit me so i got them back and they got me "back" for getting them back so i got them again cause thats what a fuckin snowball fight is and he started bitching at me.

he hit me so i followed him into chipotle and put it down his shirt. then he grabbed it (it was pretty much ice) and smacked me in the face with it in his hand and cut me up a lil bit. i didnt care and just wanted to keep playing around but the manage made us leave. so we get outside and he starts yelling at me to put the snow down and i throw it at him, and he defelcts it into his own face.

his face had no marks, mine had scratches and he starts bitching at me for creating a sceen blah blah blah and starts a huge arguement, and i tried to explain to him you cant start a snowball fight and fuck up someones face and then yell at them for getting you back. it just doesnt work that way. but he kept arguing and yelling at me and then started to say i started it and deny the sequence of events.

i just coudlnt back down and didnt even get mad but in the "i dont give a shit laugh it off" style of arguging im like "dude its not a big deal im having fun your the one who started arguing" then he tried to say i started arguign! it was rediculous!!

in situations like that:

do you have to argue till you are right? or just say "sure dude your right now fuck off", or what do you do

oh yeah, i didnt know i had my face fucked up till i looked in a mirror way after this all took place. had i known he fucked my face up and was looking at my fucked up face as he was yelling at me blaming me i probably would have tackled him into the ground.

so he fucked my face up, started it, i was cool with playing around, and he still tried to bitch me out!!
