DLL issue with Photoshop Elements - HELP!

I installed a copy of Photoshop Elements (an older version) and I cannot get into it. When I click on the icon, it starts to open, then a popup says:

"The procedure entry point PIZNoteAlert could not be located in the dynamic link library PLUGIN.dll"

HELP! What do I do?

uninstall it and reinstall..

are you running vista? If you are running vista right click it and click "run as administrator"

what version of Photoshop Elements?

No Vista. I think it is 2000. Not sure. Laptop is old, Elements is old. I think it is 1.0 Elements. I got it free from school.

Will try uninstall and reinstall.

Get a newer version of PS Elements, that will solve your probs.
