Did I do something wrong?

Why do females pester you with questions they don't want to know the answers to?

I salvaged a friendship with the last girl I was dating. Things were going well, we weren't sleeping together and she had started dating other guys. We'd basically just talk and watch the occasional movie together. Well last night I went out and ended a short dry spell. I got me a little sumthin' sumthin' but had no intentions on telling my ex. All night she kept the pressure on with questions, "what are you doing?", "where are you at?", "who are you with?", etc.

After a few fibs crossed she called me on it and demanded the truth. I told her... now she says we can't be friends. Not because I tried to hide it from her, but because I was with another girl period. Nevemind the fact that she is dating other guys and I encourage her to do so. She had a date that very night in fact! Was a colossal disaster according to her (I presumptuously apologized for setting the bar too high lol).

So which do you want women, us to lie to spare your feelings, or the truth?

I'm at work now but maybe later I'll post some pics of the text messages that were exchanged throughout the night. There's gotta be some sort of pill that can just flatline a womans emotions.

Mistake numero uno:

NEVER be friends with your ex, unless you have kids together.

I've always held the same opinion, it never works. Someone is always holding onto feelings. People keep telling me it's possible though, to be friends with ex's.

if you keep that type of relationship with an ex (one where she thinks she still owns you) then yeah, you will have problems. any kind of friendship on any level with an ex should be treaded lightly. its not recommended right after a breakup either. wait at least a few years if youre gonna communicate with them on any level. i talk occasionally to my ex whom I broke up with like 4.5 yrs ago, but there are zero feelings (at least from my perspective) and he tells me his woman troubles all the time. we trade stories and stuff. no pressure.
also, we dont hang out. if you hang out (watch movies) with an ex right after a breakup, even if youre not having sex, youre still somewhat carrying on the same relationship so she's bound to catch feelings and get jealous.

in summary, send me more n00ds and we'll straighten this all out for ya

I bet he's holding onto feelings.
