Diamond commercials really piss me off..

Where's our commercial???

I want to see one where a man is driving down a crowded road and a woman's head pops up from his lap and wiping her chin she exclames "I LOVE THIS MAN"!!!!!!

Cause you know that that's the only way to show a man that you REALLY love him.
:)

I'd settle for a Life Savers with a rhinestone glued on if it came from the right man.

A diamond wedding ring is a symbol of a commitment, nothing more. I think it would be wiser to buy a cheaper ring and put the money saved towards either a house, in a 401K, or save it for kids.

Marry me.:p

fuckin diamonds..........Waste of money IMO, the only time I would buy a woman a diamond is for an engagement ring, thats about it. They want you to buy their pretty diamond necklaces and earrings and all that bullshit.

I would just buy my girlfriend a sponge, a mop, a pair of gloves, and some good cleaning solvent................that'll fix that bitch!! clean the house woman!! Then fix me some food and lie down in the bedroom so I can hit it b4 i take a nap :)

Do you guys ever really pay attention to the sutle and sometimes not sutle messages???

Like the one where the jackass takes his g/f or wife to the crowded town square and is like " I LOVE THIS WOMAN"!!!!.

Then she quiets him down and he gives her a big diamond.

So apparently giving a women an expensive gift is the only way to REALLY show the world that you love her.

I hate that commercial. She is like embarrassed until he gives her a big ring then she's all "I love this man..." its as if she didn't love him until he gave her the ring

You really can't blame women for the diamond monopoly.

You also can't blame women for being brainwashed by society that they need a man and that they need a man to put a rock on her finger before they're thirty.

It's really pathetic if you think about it.

whats so wrong about spending some money on someone you car about and/or love?..if its for a diamond so be it...money is just a medium of exchange for goods and services..having said that though, don't ever spend money on gifts for a girl on credit..if you can't buy the gift and pay for it at that moment, then downgrade your expenditure...an exception could be made for the big ticket engagement ring, but I'd still want that paid for by the time of marriage..on a side note,I once was shopping for an engagement ring..when the jeweler showed me a nice 5K ring I looked at him(and there were other customer's around) and said "my cocks not THAT small"..the silence was priceless

How do you figure??

Seems to me that the only people that give a fuck about showing off diamonds are women.

What's the 1st thing a woman asks about a diamond?? How many carats??right???(read how much did your man spend on you).

I remember when I went ring shopping with my ex GF.

It was carat this, color this, clarity this.

What the fuck does it matter what the paper says??? If you can't see flaws with the naked eye, who cares right??

It's bragging rights, plain and simple.
