depressing movies

Requiem had a good overall effect. I wouldnt say its the ultimate in depressing movies though because its really pretty fake. Road to perdition was much more of a downer for me

I have never seen any of those movies, but I wanted to kill myself an hour into Surf Ninjas, and I'm emotionally damaged for life having seen this travisty in its entirety.

That just gave me chills, I don't even want to think about something like that!!! It was a GREAT movie, very educational, I think everyone should see it.
People live there lives not appreciating what they have. They are depressed because the weather is not right, their boss doesn't treat them right or they don't get laid enough.

We should all be thankful for the time and country we live in!
We should all be happy because we have rooves over our heads, kids in our warm lit up homes with running water and food in the fridge!

P.S. "Dirty Las Vegas" was dull and depressing.
"Legends of the fall" and "Fried Green Tomatoes" were great.

figures most of the schindler's list nominees hadn't heard of "triumph of the spirit"..Willem defoe is a greek Jew imprisoned in a nazi concentration camp..he is a boxer and the nazi's have boxing matches between the prisoners,of course they gamble on them..also stars e.olmos(that ugly guy from miami vice)..very depressing and very moving..I nominated it because I knew it was a relative unknown and the schindler's list votes might appreciate a new entry
