depressing movies

requiem is one of my top 3 favorite movies of all time, such an amazing movie.

I have never seen any of those movies, but I wanted to kill myself an hour into Surf Ninjas, and I'm emotionally damaged for life having seen this travisty in its entirety.

Very Bad Things was hilarious...."Great kids...who are you kidding? You're one crutch short of a telethon!" May be the funniest line I've ever heard in a movie. Was a little shocking at the end, but certainly not depressing.

Leaving Las Vegas was a good downer...Nick Cage portrayed a hopeless drunk to perfection. Good call on that one.

Saw Girl Interrupted...thought it was a good movie...not all that depressing.

charlie and the chocolate factory. it's really depressing when you think wonka's being a big jerk and screwing over charlie. but when you see how wonka isn't all that bad, you want to cry tears of joy.

girl interrupted and requiem for a dream are hands down the most depressing films i have seen. i challenge anyone to top those two movies.
