I hate dentist.. don't get me wrong I have very good teeth.. no cavities and only one crown from having a tooth damaged in freak baseball accident. BUT, i hate dentist.. I swear they are into inflicting pain. If a hell really does exist I bet their favorite torment is to pick your gums!

I can take nearly all of it, but I hate it when the spit pools up in the back of my throat and I can't breathe... ugh

I had an aversion to dentists too, but more because I couldn't afford to go more than because of the pain inflicted.

That being said, now that I can afford to go, my dentist now has me scheduled for visits every 4 months instead of 6 months because I waited so long to see him.

not sure if the stat is still true, but at one point, dentists had the highest rate of suicides of all professions.

I would have thought that the profession of "suicide bomber" would have won out on that

lol - I think I saw it in 1988 or so.
my "random facts of suspect nature" are mostly from the early 90's, but that one is older in my mind.
