DC Style Routine

Allright some examples please.

Go read all the stickies at intensemuscle.com. I'm not going to do your homework for you. Be sure to read everythign at least 2 or 3 times or you'll miss something and do it wrong, then end up not liking it and saying it sucks...when all along you never really did DC training.

Oh, and hopefully you've got at least 3-5 years of serious training under your belt already and have made decent gains, but have pretty much stopped gaining on other routines you've tried.

DC is NOT for beginners or people with little (less than 2-3 years) of serious, consistent training experience.

Good post. I sent him "Dante's Inferno". I hope he reads it and then reads the stickys.

I've read on DC, and still don't quite "get it." I know CEO has told me that I'm not there yet, and maybe so. My only question is, how can something be so absolutely positively not for intermediate lifters (I don't consider myself one, but I'm posing a Q)? What happens if you try DC and you've been lifting say 1 year? Do you just spontaneously combust in the gym? I'm sure its intense but shit, isn't that the point? I just don't understand why its so "off limits" and protected.

If you had read all the stickies over on the Dogg Pound forum at IM, you'd have your answer to that. Read the stickie, "Newbie info Consolidated" and click on the links after this statement:

"DC training is for expirienced lifters, 2-3 years of serious lifting. With the intensity and frequency, you need to know your body, and the iron."

You can hear it from the man himself. I'm not saying anything that DC hasn't said bro.

Thanks for the info, I will take a look.

X2. I switched away from it in favor of the 5x5 routine as suggested by Dante and many others. The level of intensity and dedication required for that program is insane. You really need to know your body and be willing to go balls to the wall every single day with your training and more importantly your diet.
