DC Style Cardio

Has anyone ever had personal success using DC's plan for cutting down? He recommends A.M. cardio. I know there's been a lot of controversey on this.

When bulking, 2-3 times a week for 45 minutes on the highest incline walking on a treadmill to stay lean.

Now, he claims everyone who he's trained has been able to get shredded by doing this (5 days a week when trying to cut) and hasn't ran into any problems yet. He also doesn't believe in changing the diet that built you all that size, but rather just doing the cardio.

Debaser, maybe? Guldukat? Looking for some personal success stories for anyone who has used his method.

it depends on what you are cutting for.

If you are infact cutting to get lean, but not for a show, its frequent cardio at an incline and moderate pace. You may tweak the diet as neccessary.

I am not sure on his specifications for cutting for a contest though as that doesn't interest me.

Yeah, I'm talking about cutting to just get lean (a flat stomach even, not even a 6-pack or anything) - so you're saying his method would work to help with that?

I don't see why not. He is not a contest prep specialist-- he's into making montsters-- but if you are just looking to lean out he knows a thing or two about that. I've been slowly "cutting" the past several months. Though really all i've been doing is low carbing and carbing up, lifting 2-3 times a week and cardio 2-4 times a week (this should perhaps be more frequent, but I'm struggling with the end of the semester grind right now and had a sinus infection for the past month). Even so, things are goin rather well.

BTW if you have a big gut, you might look into Absolved by Avant Labs. You can get it for $20, $25 or so, and while I'm not completely sure its helped, I certainly am pleased with the way I am leaning out.

TT- I walk first thing in the am at 12 degree incline for 35 minutes at 5.0-6.0.......under 5.0 is really a snails pace and can't imagine it doing anything for you....cept maybe a nice stretch of the hams.........

TALL? 6'2......nothing extreme.......however, my girlfiriend is 5'6 maybe a buck of 5 and does 12% at a minimum of 4.0-4.5...........so, not an excuse chief.......build up to it.......
