I know I should know the answer to this question, but I dont.

All other things being equal, if you go heavy on dbol for 4 weeks, vs heavy on sust for 4 weeks (assume its actually weeks 4-8 for the test so stable blood levels have already achieved), which will yield greater lean mass results (ie after peeing away the excess water from either).

assume the mid-to-high end of reccommended experienced user doses for both, proper pct, etc etc etc


I know there's no magic exact formula, but just based on your experience...

well that would be the pissing away the water part, but we're assuming just actual muscle tissue (non-water lean mass)
 
Dbol will give you strength and is great to start out a cycle, but gains on it aren't very lean. Test on the other hand will give you real solid muscle like no other.
 
excellent! On sust, I usually start to feel it by the end of the first week or so, so I'll try scrapping the dbol all together. I hate the dbol sleepiness/mellowness, bloat and fat gain, none of which I get with test.
 
nope, Dbol packs on more pounds for me then Test...but id rather be on test any day over dbol....dbol gains are half water which is all lost as soon as you stop taking it
 
Ok i know im partial to test anyway, so test gets my vote... as said dbol make you an animal quick, so great kickstart....everyone i know in person lost almost all the gains on dbol only... a few bros on here said they kept most, but i going from what i see first hand... I have also known bros(at my gym not friends) who did test only and no real pct and still kept some good gains prob not as much as they could have,, but point is, in my book anyway test wins hands down.... but cant beat dbol for a good kick start.. wish i could use it.........

yup, I was just trying to frame a comparison over a fixed period of time. (and it'll be more like 20-24 weeks lol - you only live once)

I'll try kickstarting the next sust/deca bulker with some prop and npp at the front end and the fuck with the dbol.

Sounds like a pretty good plan other than that fact you only live once so you might want to make it last.
I've never gone over 13 weeks on a cycle but it'd sure be interesting to try ;) .
 
Deff test..even if you did only 4 weeks of sust you would keep alot more lbm over dbol any day...with proper anti's included.
 
i always pull for the underdog so im votin for d bol..BUT in my heart i know "Test is king of the road" haha roger miller....ya i mean disregarding wut u said bout experienced users lol for first time with proper diet and pct test only can give up up to 25-30 even 35 lbs which about 20 can be attainable.. d bol can in most cases give first time users 15-20 which are not keepable..unless u hear those rare cases of guys who say they kept it all with no bloat lol
 
I took Dbol with AIFM for 6 weeks at 40mg a day to kickstart my Test cycle and I jumped from 198lbs to 214lbs and my arms bigger than they've ever been. My Test kicked in around week 3 and I didnt lose one lb just kept gaining. Currently weighing at 218lbs and couldnt be happier. The trick with Dbol is keep your diet mega f@#$ing cleeeeeeeeann and drink shitloads of water and take an AI with it. I didnt lose any size my arms are still the same size if not bigger.

I think dbol gets a bad rap everytime one of these comparison threads is posted. Yeah, take dbol and you gain weight very quickly. Run it 4 weeks, stop it, and you will lose a portion of that gain very quickly. Big deal - dbol stimulates water retention. We know this. It also boosts nitrogen retention through the roof (not to mention strength). I've gained muscle with dbol only - and lost fat at the same time - with training and diet that I considered sub-par. Dbol alone can certainly pack on real muscle.

The dbol to sust 4-week comparison is really impossible to make - and if dbol and sust are the components used prior to the conjecture of a definitive opinion in this thread I don't put much faith in it. On sust we "wait" 3-4 weeks before we really feel it kicking, weight and strength gains etc., but regardless we've BEEN ON TEST the whole time.

I've never taken 75 mg of dbol a day (some have), but most of us see 500 mg per week of test to be a minimum for a test based cycle.


I'd like to see a side to side comparison of trained athletes using dbol and test prop at 35 mg per day for 6 weeks, and another comparison of dbol and test prop at 75 mg per day. Screw weight gain, look at lean mass gain after all is said and done. Test may very well be the winner and that wouldn't hurt my feeling at all. But don't be fooled into assuming that all the dbol gains would be lost.
 
Dbol for instant but temporary mass. Test for good, quality, keepable mass. TEST IS THE KING and should be used for the base of any cycle. Anything else is just an add-on that compliments the test.
 
just curious where does Deca stand amongst test and dbol, in the categories, of water retain, strength, muscle, and mass?
