i've done just over half the country on a sport bike. lower back doesn't take a beating. your ass does though. the first 2 times my knees took a major beating, but i was breaking in a one piece suit with hard armor. it sucked.

You are one true biker bro. I don't think I could go more than 250 miles on a sport bike in a day and that is after riding side saddle, laying on the bike with my feet on the rear seat, using the sliders as highway pegs, and standing up.

longest was down from san fran to San diego down the pacific coast highway... maybe 800 miles
id be game to do this for my trip

drive west siden it to memphis and meet my old bike bro. then go from there too daytona for bike week and after that head down to south beach for spring break.. party hardy (have clothes mailed to prearranged hotel room) then have the bikes transported back while we fly

estatamated miles would be like 3500

best place ever to ride is the I40 near new mexico, oklahoma, north westrn texas... pure road, no mini vans and state troopers dont exsist

We are staying at the Swan Dolphin in Disney World, and riding in every morning. This way the wife and kids can come, and my buddies and I can still get awat during the day. $129.00 a night, booked 6 months in advance, and the hotel is sweet.

We will be at Disney World, the 4th through the 8th, and then in Daytona the 9th through the 12th. We are trailering down, the kids and wives are flying. Not sure which bike is coming with me yet. My 124" softail project is almost done (no paint yet).

Dang dude sounds just like us except we are all trailering to disney world then the kids are flying back for the same dates except we are leaving texas on the 2nd. We will be in Daytona at the same you and your wife will. We should hook up for dinner or drinks night.
