Glocks are unbeatable when it comes to function and reliability at their cost. I love the 1911 whether its a colt, kimber, whatever for their beauty and timeless design but they are spendy.
Can't say that I have ever even heard of Bersa before. Cheapest handgun I would/have ever bought is a little concealed carry Kel-tec as aforementioned.
Java guru your 870 and 1911 are timeless classics. No reason to feel old.
Hey SD Kimber is a quality weapon. It actually so high end that you need to work with a gunsmith to get it dialed in to match your shooting style. Glocks work great for CQB and straight out of the box average shooter. A Kimber is made to be shooter specific. I hate to hear you werent happy with your purchase. Glocks are great if you want them for what they are designed for. I personally own a few glocks, models 19, 26,31. All for specific reasons and they fit the bill for why each were purchased. Now a Kimber is not for CC purpose or for work/duty carry. It is a collector or comp piece, but once its dialed in...they are a joy to shoot. And as stated before...if you've never shot the little Kel-tec .32 you owe it to shoot one. Willing to bet you buy it after you do.
