A friend and I are trying to save years of friendship after a botched romance between her and I. Were working it out but the feelings are still there and it sucks dude, but time heals all.
Trust me telling her is the only way to mend the rift you have already created. As long as you are honest she will appreciate what you say if your friendship means as much to her as it does to you. Besides girls like it when you talk about intimate feelings. Good luck to you.

Well, my situation was a bit different. We weren't co-workers or classmates so we didn't see each other every day but frequently enough to know how you feel. She is in the Air Force and was here getting her masters degree. We actually met at the gym and would hang out when we could. But with her time constraints, it was next to impossible to explore the possibilities. I did end up telling her how I felt. It was something I felt I had to do and really not to get her response because I knew what it would be. Actually this past week has been hell because she left Wednesday to go to her next duty assignment.
