cruising time..how much do you eat?

cruising time in a few days.
right now im eating something like 900-1000 cals over maitanence.


would it be alright to go down a bit?

say 3-400 over my maintanence?

any advice?
 
Whats you body fat %? Unless your already around 12% anything over maintenance is likely going to add fat if your not still putting on muscle naturally and then your likely adding mass at a fraction of a lb a week so only really need a couple hundred cals over maint to achieve that. If you still in mid teens for body fat then id cut down to maint, you have enough body fat to supply the extra coupld hundred cals a day for energy that your food can be used to build new muscle. Just my 2 cents.
 
but yes its fine to lower ur calorie intake slightly, although u shoudl still keep it above maintaince even on a cruise

Not to be argumentative, but if you are at a point in your training where mass gains are next to nothing whats the benefit of eating over maintenance?

if when off cycle you eat right with a slight caloric excess and gain mass at lets say 1lb a month, wouldnt it make more sense to consume just enough cals so support the addition of 1lb a month(say an additional 120 cals a day)? The more BF you have the fewer cals over maint you can consume and get by because your body has fat stores to call on for energy.

Honestly I dont think any of us, and probably not even the OP has enough info to accurately prescribe a plan moving forward. Most people just dont track their diet or body composition closely enough.

Of course the dose of his cruise, current BF, where he is in his training life (ie how close he is to his naturally potential at carrying mass) all play a role in moving forward but those details havent been supplied.
 
he not going off cycle, hes returning to cruisng so he is in a betetr state to use any excess calories

I realize he is "cruising" and said as much in my post, but not everyone cruises on the same dose. He may be in a better state to use calories but if he is carrying a lot of extra mass already, extra cals are more likely to get stored as fat. Personally I think cruising is the perfect time to trim some fat. The AAS will help maintain muscle while consuming maint or even fewer cals as long as your BF already isnt very low.
 
well, i dont KNOW my maintanence, but would guess in the range of 3000.
gotta do a caliper test first.

cruising on 200 mg test.



bf would guess 14-15%

but i am thinking about lowering atlest 400-450 cals.
and that would still give me 3500 cals.

the only thing i wanted to know was if it was okay to go down to 250-400 over maintanence when cruising?

btw, got half of a bottle of sustanon, can i cruise on that?

just gonna cruise 6-7 weeks.
 
Its a falicy that you cant gain muscle and lose fat at the same time, I think cruising is the perfect time to do it and you do it by eating just slightly less than what you need for maint and do high intensity short duration cardio. Leave the low intensity jogging and shit to the marathon runners, it kills muscle.
 
remeber ur cruise dose should be low as possible to maintain ur size, not high enough that you can keep all your size and cutup
Once again, this depends on where you are in terms of mass and what you can carry off cycle. As I mentioned above the details are too light to give anything more than casual suggestions.
 
I go on cutting diets when I cruise since I know I won't be building muscle. So I figure I might as well do something useful and prime my body for my next cycle with as low a bf as possible

Without more specific details, this was my reasoning as well.
