Creatine, how much do YOU take per day? I always loose the strength..

I will start taking creatine soon and would like to know how much everyone is taking. For me creatine has always been nice while taking it, but when I run out of it I always drop the weight and also the strength I have gained. Is it all water one would gain from Creatine, anyone really think gains in strength are keepable?
I'm about 180lb, always took about 5 pre workout and 10g post on workout day, on non wokrout days 5g 4 times per day.
How much are you taking..?
 
you only need to load on creatine (5g, 3 or 4 times a day) for about a week, after that you only need about 5-10 grams post workout, anything more you'll pretty much just be wasting because your muscles are already saturated.
 
AL: Creattine is STILLa great supp. The way to take it IMHO is to use it as a bridge between cycles. It keeps your muscles "full" and strenght relatively good. Don't expect any boastful permanent results from creatine. It does sever a great purpose as I have described above.
 
I think creatine is by far the best ACTUAL SUPPLEMENT that Really Works and now my favorite of all supps.

I take 10grms a day after loading phase for maintanance, and a 5grm 5grm 5grm (split throughout the day), the last 5grm 40min before training and 10 immediatly post workout. I notice a much shortened recovery time and about 10lbs of water gain by the end of loading phase.

i dont think thats right, I think you just lose size your not supposed to lose strength without creatine...i think that might be in your head...I've never had problems with strength after i cycled creatine out for a month.
 
10 grams along with 750mg ALA and 80 grams of dextrose.... Within a week, I have a continuous pump all day.
