This is from dawgtime from another board which I won't mention.i know they prefer here to not talk about other boards so I will respect that. Highly unlikely he is bullshitting IMO.

Im gunna call bullshit. 2 days later from an infection/abscess? c'mon guys you cant buy this shit. Unless the person who sold him the shit drew up some staph from a wound and put it in the syringe and even with that they wouldnt take his leg or be in the ICu 2 days later from an injection.

I have been an er nurse for several years now and have seen some bad abscess come in from follicles being infected to heroin and meth users skin popping. those guys are generally dirty people and I doubt the swab thier injection site prior to sticking and it has never progressed that fast.

I agree. We can't possibly be getting all of the facts. I've seen guys go awhile w/o getting an abcess treated and getting Staph, chunks of their ass removed, ICU, etc-but it doesn't happen in 2 days. I'd bet $$$ if this story is true, the victim had a pre existing abcess in the same area that was further irritated by another injection.

And wtf is he doing using an oil based injectable 1 week out from the show???

Where is the proof? Who is the onelegged guy? Can we hear from him? Does he even exist? What board was it from? I know EF doesn't want to advertise for other boards, but as we all know, there are some other legit boards out there like EF and there are a lot of Bullshit boards out there as well. I onder where this post came from? Has anyone else, in the history of using injectiable steroids lost a limb from an infection after two days? If so, how come we have yet to hear of it? Especially after all the Benoit bullshit about steroids, I imagine someone would come foreward and say people are losing limbs from aas now. So far nothing, right? Hey Lartinos, what makes you think this is not BULLSHIT? As you posted, in YOUR OPINION, this highly unlikely bullshit. Why is that? Are you a doctor? Do you have medical training? Do you know this one legged body builder? Do you know this guy from the other board?

A post like this can absolutely ruin a source and for what? Before we convict, let's at least hear some damn proof. So I challenge you, present the members here at EF with some proof, or stop posting bullshit like this. Do some research next time before you start spreading rumors, because without proof, that's all this is, a rumor.

we all know an infection would take longer than 2 days to cause the loss of a limb, if ever. it would take most of us longer than 2 days to even go to the dr. to start with. we would still be applying heat and massaging that sucker with our fingers crossed. How many procedures would they go through before they got to the point of taking a limb? many i say. I have had an infection myself. and it was from sust amps so i would say it wasn't the gear but the lack of care on my part. even with good injection practices and clean gear, it can still happen.

Visited a friend in the hospital who got a scratch on his elbow while mountainbiking. 8 hours later he was surgery for compartmental syndrome caused by the infection and nearly lost his arm. Not saying this is what the guy in this thread had, but the notion that a disease takes days to progress to the point of being life threatening is incorrect.

Read up on MRSA and VRSA. You won'y go to a public gym again without a can of lysol and a flamethrower :worried:

Nec Fas is extremely rare. yes COMPARTMENT SYNDROME can cause on to lose a leg or limb. Compartment syndrome is generaly caused by a long bone injury and some time a vascular injury. For an injection site to cause this it would have to swell enough to cause perfusion pressure to fall below tissue pressure in order to lose a limb. It would take a hell of a lot longer than 2 days.

There has always been bacteria since the world fucking started. if you let that shit keep you from doing shit then....I dont know what to say. Don't be a pussy and leave your hand sanitizer at home when lifiting.

this is exactly what i was thinking as i read this, no way it from an infection and had to amputate two days later. only think i can think of IS THIS REALLY TRUE is that what he injected wasnt gear at all but some counterfeit shit that was very toxic... i've never had a problem with qv but havent used qv since they got busted either.

this is crazy but i swear its true. at the gym 2 day a friend comes up to me and says do you remember so and so. i cant remember his name ill ask again tomorrow. i said no im bad with names and he has a folder with pics in it. he showed me the pic's and its a huge dude and i keep looking and i reconized him from like 10 years ago. i didnt know him but remember seeing him. then he tells me he just lost his leg. that he was just about to do a show. i asked accadent and he said no it was an infection. and it made me think of this. and i gusses his friends just made a site about him. ill try to find it. doc dosent think its roids but have not ruled out anything yet. this guy knows him cause his daughter used to date him and they still keep in touch. what a small world

its funny how you only have 2 posts on this site and a friend just happens to bring you some pics to show you AT THE GYM. c'mon who is doing this shit!!!! Someone is fucking around and trying to scare people. Go somewhere else with this shit.
 
What a load of bullshit... I 've heard of a fellow gym friend injecting fake winnie ( which was armor all yes armor fuckin all) all he got was a bad bruise with an absess but was ok after a month... So hell no did someone lose a fucking limb two days later... bull fuckin shit..
 
Well, I don't think this story is true or it would have gotten some coverage if he was a real competitor. But, I do know people who have injected through a muscle (1.5in needle that went all the way through) and it causes an infectino so bad they contemplated amputation of the limb. But it didn't happen in his case. I don't know about this one. But the only thing that could happen is if you injected to close to the sciatic nerve and it pinched... you could have a problem yes
 
you have to have some fucking scrawny ass legs to go all the way through your muscle. you have to have a 3 in needle and weigh about 120lbs at 6 ft 9.
