I did some reading on this today and apparently it's a good form of active recovery. I decided to give it a whirl of 2 mins hot alternating with 30 seconds of cold. I did 3 cycles.
Holy shit. When the cold water kicks in... man, I thought I was going to have a heart attack. Those 30 seconds feel like an eternity... but man, I'll tell you what, I feel pretty awesome now. I might have to throw a couple of these in every week.
Anyone else ever try these?
