Contemplating a low dose DNP cycle

I'm thinking of doing a low dose DNP cycle in the next few weeks. I've never used DNP before, so I was thinking of going with 200mg/day (wetted in vial) for 4-6 weeks. If I do decide to go this route, I'd use 1.5g/day of Quercetin during and 3 weeks after the DNP cycle, and also a heffty amount of ALA. I'm around 15% BF @ 5'8" 228lbs, trying to get into single digits. Also, I'd take the frozen DNP at night.

Here's my questions.....

1) Training........I train 3 days a week, very high intensity, low sets, low reps, heavy weights to failure every set, and 30 minutes cardio postworkout at about 65% my max heart rate. I also do 30 minutes cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach on my off days 3 days a week.

At 200mg/day of DNP, would I be able to train the same as I do now, and should I even attempt to train the same?

2) Diet.........Since I'm trying to lean out my first two meals are carbs/protein, usauly around 65g protein and 75g carbs per meal, along with 500mg/ALA per meal. Carbs come from oatmeal, and fruit. My last four meals are no carbs, just protein and fat. A sample meal would be 9oz chicken breast, 1Tbs flax oil or some fish oil caps, and some broccoli.

Would this diet work well while using DNP, or should I add more carbs? I'd really like to keep my carbs low if possible....I just don't do well on a high to mod-high carb diet, even with ALA.

Any diet will work on dnp. as long as the calories are low, you will burn fat.

DNP will raise your metabolism 50% or so. So if you eat 2000 cals a day, they would now be at 1000 cals a day with the same diet.

What works best with dnp to speed up to fat loss (atleast for me it works) is to stick with mainly protein and carbs in the form of fruit. Try to intake as little fat as possible. Fruit is best because it gives you energy fast on DNP, and does not give you hot flashes like other carbs.

Don’t worry too much about sparing muscle by having complex carbs and fat. It will not do it. DNP smokes up carbs. By taking DNP it will lower your t3 levels( muscle sparing) and in a way replace your metabolism with the DNP metabolism which will mainly burn FAT, and not so much muscle. If you are on AS, it’s even better. Most muscle loss you may notice will all come back when you carb up after the cycle.

This is what worked for me :

Cals at 9X body weight (maybe you should do more cals since you will be on it for 4 weeks)

Protein 1 X LEAN MASS - chicken tuna and whey to keep the fat off.
Carbs(for rest of cals) - Fruit. Watermelon, peaches... everything with lots of water. Vanila coke is good too. It has a lot of fructose in it.
Fat - under 10 grams.

I ate veggies throughout the day too. It helped with energy

my typical meals looked like this.

meal1: Chicken, Peach
meal2: Tuna(with lemon), Vanilla coke.
meal3: whey, watermelon
etc.....

Don’t forget to time and plan your carb up when you finish.
 
Thanks for the info bro, I'll try that. Just keep my protein high and moderate carbs threw out the day with low fat intake.

What do you think of my training while on DNP?
 
i have never trained on dnp. I was going to. I woke up one morning and reached over for the gallon of water i had by my bed to take a sip and i could barely hold it up. I realized if i was too weak to hold a gallon of water then i would not do too well in the gym. I just took the week off.
 
on a low dose like that, you shouldnt have too much of a problem. On 400mg, i still had pretty normal workouts, i just got tired a little faster.

SAME HERE! No heat, no sides @ 200mg ED. 400mg ED no heat, just seems like it takes a little longer to cool down when I do get heated. Some slight lethargy on day 3 @ 400mg. Ephedrine killed that real quick.

BTW...I'm using pre-wetted crystal, 200mg vials.
