Confrontation with a group of thugs....

I would have hit that side of the thug mobile like a locomotive. Snatching little pansies off right and left.

Thats what i felt like doing. But then the 'what if's' started running through my head...

I live in brantford and have been to T.O a time or two ,I just walk away and dont waste my time, really it isnt worth it there are some crazy fuckers there and not worth the chance of being hurt.

what beach did you goto? sounds nice

wasaga beach. Beach#1 specifically.

I go downtown pretty frequently and havent had any kind of trouble with thug/gangster types. Mabey it was because i looked these guys in the eye. Retarded.

I would have considered the source and moved on. Seriously, it might have pissed me off, but you've got to use common sense in that situation, it's a no win situation, they will shoot you. Best to always walk away if possible. I have the attitude that I will not fight someone unless I'm attacked or to protect someone else being attacked. You can kill someone or be killed in a fight.

This is exactly what i was thinking.

What if i hit the guy in the perfect place and break his neck? or what if he does the same to me?

what if these guys get me down on the ground, stomp on my head a couple times and my brain is damaged? or worse, what if i dont wake up?

fist-to-cuffs is relativily beign. Old school rules. Someone is knocked out, or taps out and the fight is over. Nowadays, people - especially thugs imo - fight to inflict serious bodily harm. No even matched fights. Multiple persons against a single person and/or weapons against a unarmed man is alright.

Its a crap shoot.

Your comment on the right to bear arms is interesting. Are you saying that this incident changed your views concerning guns or did you always feel that way?

During university, my political views were pretty far left. Go figure.

After reading some posts here, educating myself on historical gov attempts to disarm the populace to reduce civilian resistance against unfavourable governance (Germany pre ww2 ect) and taking stock of what’s going on today, my opinion on gun control/abolition has shifted from near total support to moderate dissent.

As far as today goes, it was the first real time I wished I had a gun. I’m not a violent person at all. Fairly caring and good-natured. Rarely go looking for trouble. But today I felt genuinely threatened. As I said, a friend of mine worked as a bouncer in a club downtown in Toronto and was killed by a guy who was less than 160 pounds. I hear allot about young thugs, both black and white, although most are black, murdering people with guns at Toronto area clubs.

What kind of defence can I offer against that? If killing to some people is that random and indiscriminate as to pop two caps in somebody’s chest because they asked you two times to stop smoking weed in a club, then how can I ensure my own personal security or those I care about besides brandishing a firearm?

Walk away is an option.

But I was thinking, what if these dudes looked for me and found me before I left. And what if the excessive numbers of cops present that day weren’t there, as one of the waitress said it was highly unusually for so many cops to be around that time of year?

What would have happened then?

My fate would’ve been in their hands. I would rather do everything in my power to control my own fate than have some two-bit skid mark make that decision for me.

I don’t think God has a problem with justifiable homicide but im not sure about Canadian law...

Short answer to your question. yea man, it did. I wish Canadian law allowed persons having no criminal record to carry personal handguns.

Take some comfort in the fact that these idiots' days are numbered. Acting like that, sooner or later someone without anything to lose (ie- rivals) is going to smoke them.

Treat them like inanimate creature or like some lamposts.

This is what my gf was saying. Dont even look at them. They seem to thrive off conflict and confrontation so mabey staying away or just avoiding any type of acknowledgement is best.

I believe these guys did this to you because one of these two reasons.

1. You were starring at them and maybe saying stuff to your g/f about them.

2. You were wearing all blue (gang colors) and the starring made them wonder.

Eye contact was made. But it was more like a casual glance. Nothing more. But it might have been enough. They seem to be pretty sensitive.

In Canada, we dont have ghettos or hoods. As far as repping gang colors, it has virtually no meaning in canada because the relative massive size of a gang required to give any significance to a particular color, doesnt exist here. There might be one or two formal gangs in canada comprised of one or two residential blocks of people. Unlike in the states where the bloods and crips have probably tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of members...

But yea. Its likely they didnt pick me out of the crowd at random, so i was probably looking at them too long. or the wrong way. ?

I had 3 (black thugs type) guys do the same thing to me…and I just kept walking, And my stupid girl friend said HEY, I THINK THEY ARE TALKING TO YOU(thinking they were my friends) so I thought I had to prove my shit to my girlfriend, so I turned around and was approaching these guys ready to throw down. And one of them moved his un-button shirt out of the way reveling a gun….I turned around and walked away and had to listen to them laughing at me.

shitty man.
