Clubbing --> Earplugs anyone?

Last night I went out to this club. And my ears are -still- ringing. A friend said that earplugs really help. But now I have to find some good 'clubbing ear plugs'

Does anyone know where I can get some earplugs that dampen the sound a bit (and are still pretty invisible to others). ?

You can find the soft insert kind at most home improvement storee (i.e. Lowe', Home Depot). However, they tend to be brightly colored...

A buddy of mine uses a small piece of balled up bar napkin when we go to the club.

What?......What did you say?......Huh? I hate trying to talk to people in these damn clubs. The bar tender can't even tell what you're ordering. Maybe that's why I quit going to clubs.

yes you can get them at big 5, they come in dark colors and when put in all the way are pretty much invisible, they cut the sound by about 30dBs,,,,but when i go to bars I see a fair amount of the brightly colored ones in peoples ears and on the floor, so I think they are getting more common.....

I got some good ear plugs..... they stop those unwanted frequencies but not human voice...the costed me about 200$ they're made for my ears.... got them when I used to work as a DJ
