Clomid works good!

I don't think most people are arguing whether or not clomid works (well, it didn't for me, but that's my problem).... sure it works, sure it's cheaper... but those side effects! Most people would say D-N-P is killer for losing weight/fat... but at what cost?? If you don't get side effects from clomid or Nolvaldex - tamoxifen citrate - , more power to ya!

I just like knowing that there is a safe, more natural, alternative that works just as well (if not better for some)... even if it is more expensive. I think this is just a silly argument.

second, How do you know its "natural"?

third, there is no way in hell you can compare the sides of DNP to the sides of clomid. Also, the sides of clomid are mainly obtained when running 100, 200, and 300mg doses of clo. if ran properly those sides are diminished greatly.


oh and I can get clomid for 5 cycles for about 65 bucks.

Your using clomid and sustain together so how would you know the clomid is working better?

I think clomid/Nolvaldex - tamoxifen citrate - will work fine for restoring test levels, I just don’t like their side effects. Even if you don’t notice the reduction in sex drive, blurred vision or emotional issues, they are still very toxic.

Anyway, carry on.

I haven't taken them yet. I have them ready for PCT. I wanted to use the Sustain only but I'm getting strong advice to not risk recovery and just use the Clomid. I need someone other than njmuscleguy to post positive results!

clomid good stuff. i ran 50mg ed straight through with some hcg at beginning. only thing i noticed was increased emotional state at sometimes, a handful of times that is when i got really fucking baked i could notice it was working, also towards the end had some depressive feelings couple times. it worked though.

Yeah. This is one of his more, let's say, less-scientific and more controversial beliefs. Most of the time he's more on the money. Well, to get different opinions and viewpoints is one of the reasons we have this board!

Uh oh, I've entered enemy territory -- land of the Clomiphine lovers.

I never intended to suggest Clomid doesn't work for EVERYONE. But it sure as hell doesn;'t work for a lot of people. That's a given -- though a few years ago it was regarded as a sure fire cure.

I also question a lot of the research because it's sketchy, contradictory and often incomplete, yet adex has been shown to work at least as well with less sides, yet adex is often discouraged PCT. That makes no sense. It's just another example of how a tenet gets spread.

As far as "big loads", I'll concede, though I always noticed a decrease in semenal volume. Who knows, maybe it has an opposite effect on others . You also can't discount the power of placebo.

Clomid is simply a nasty drug that is, at best, hit or miss. As mentioned, everyone who has uses adex along with either the UNLEASHED/POST CYCLE or Dermacrine has recovered perfectly without the unhealthy side effects. That's all.

I don't know that it's completely safe... for that matter, how do I know that any pill I pop is completely safe? Look at all the FDA-approved drugs that are being questioned or recalled lately. Derma's ingredients: Chrysin, benzoflavone, resveratrol... Chrysin has been around for YEARS.. have you heard of anyone having a bad run-in with it? Resveratrol comes from grape skin extract... I don't see a problem there... benzoflavones are not toxic either to my knowledge. So I was happy to take my chances with this. Other than "it works", how much do you know about clomid? Is it toxic at all?

As for being "natural", I wasn't citing any one product in particular, I just said I would prefer if there was a more natural approach to P-C-T. And for the record, the ingredients in "that product" are derived from plants if I'm not mistaken. Not that it makes it any safer, but that sounds more natural to me.

Finally, I'm not saying the sides of clomid are the same or worse than D-N-P... point is, if something is going to give me some pretty bad sides, I won't use it unless my life depended on it. Even at 50mg, clomid was giving me abdominal pain that had me doubling-over sometimes... I even had to get an ultra sounds to figure out what the hell was going on. On top of that, I didn't recover! I've used clomid half-dozen times... just didn't do it for me. Guess I'm just a freak.

I think everyone is getting into a tizzy over nothing... if clomid works for you, fantastic! I'm not forcing you to stop using it... I don't have any agenda by trying to sell you an alternative supplement, etc. But if there are other approaches that *may* be just as effective, why shouldn't people try them without getting any heat for it?

Protein Factory's POST CYCLE (I have to say Protein Factory otherwise it gets confusing) contains Chrysin and Calcium D Glucarate. Do a search -- both are perfectly safe, natural and health enhancing.

Hey, as njmuscleguy says, if you love Clomid, knock yourself out, but there are better ways for those who are either non responders or those more concerned with the possible side effects down the road.

What kind of results are you looking for? bloodwork? Or just testimonials? I can think of a handful of guys on here that have used it with good results. You're a plat member... do a search for their threads: Spywizard, gjohnson5, ricanx99, Glen, D_Mac, Stryker1992, mm107, vascularfreak. Some pretty good bro's there... I'd trust their judgement enough to give it a shot.
