Clomid and spermatogenesis WHILE ON

I posted this on I-T as well, but since this board has so much traffic (and a few guys replies that would interest me VERY much on this one...)
I have been searching for the past hour but cant find any DEFINITIVE answer to whether or not clomid taken WHILE ON CYCLE will increase spermatogenesis (sperm production) or not?

I know it can have a positive effect while off (as can proviron), but how about when supraphysiological levels of androgens are present?

Any abstracts that anyone is aware of please share them now

(I'm sure those of you reading between the lines on this one know where I am going with this... )

yes it will. i remember reading somewhere reasonably scientific that using clomiphene citrate will increase sperm count and endogenous test if used midway through cycle

it was a long time ago, but im fairly sure

Even in a supraphysiologically rich androgen environment?

I KNOW it usually works for the average joe (for fertility issues)...I just wonder if its effective for steroid using bodybuilders while they are ON cycle?

yep. as i recall the blokes they looked at were on double the test needed for use as a contraceptive

If I decide to stay on for an extended period of time on this one I don't want to rely on HCG...I was hoping clomid used in this fashion might illicit the response I was looking for
I guess there is only one way to find out definitively....

I am convinced at the very least helps increase sperm production, (though that is still ALL speculatory on my part).

I know..or should I say knew, of an old vet. Guy was 42 years old. He had a good physique and always competed. Every cycle he did he ALWAYS used Clomid at 50mg's EOD to keep his nuts and test levels in check. Never used HCG until the end of cycles along with the usual PCT. He never used Adex. He simply said that he didn't like it. That there was no need for anti-aromatase! He said..."the BB's of 10, 20 ,30 years ago didn't have shit like this and they still acheieved looks that guys of today want so bad". True huh? The only anti estro combo he like to use at all times Proviron along with Comid at 50mg's EOD. The clomid was used as an anti estro and to keep the nuts and test in check. He would only keep nolva in hand at the first sign of tiny bit of gyno. But would only use 10mg's the most! I remember one of his bulking cycles. And believe me! This guy was huge and in good shape! Even better for the competition. His 12 week bulking cycle was the following....
weeks 1-12 Cypionat at 400mg's per week
EQ at 600mgs per week
Proviron at 75mg's per day
Clomid at 50mg's EOD
GH at 6 ius per day
Insulin at only 4 ius PWO w/ 2 ius of the GH

This MOFO was huge!!! He was 5' 10" and weighed in at 225lbs and lean! See, I don't understand why this guy never used HCG during cycles. Yet over the past few months I learned not only from this forum but others that nobody uses Clomid at 50mg's EOD. Yet back in the days...I knew that he and many other guys around here did that. The use of clomid DURING cycles is NOT to try and keep testosterone levels functioning....
I use it for increasing the chances of conception via increased sperm production and mobility.

In an androgen rich environment (i.e. a cycle) the androgen levels are too high for clomid to illicit its desired effect of restoring natural test at that point...

Its only good IMO on cycle to help with conception

That is why this thread was posted in the first place

But using clomid in a supraphysiological androgen rich environment will NOT illicit the response you are hoping for (i.e. keeping natural test functioning)....

clomid will not make you produce sperm while on gear

HCG and Hmg may do as they directly replace the FSH and LH that AS has reduced , anyone got any info on that one ?
