thats all he had, awaiting new order which has been delayed a day, so he used that.

i had some 23G laying about but realised they were 5 months out of date, so he justed grabbed one of his 16G (why he has them, i don't know) and shot away.

crazy fool

EDIT: Someone beat me to it already...

Since when do pins expire?
As long as they're sealed then what does it matter?
in the Uk, all sealed pins, syringes etc have a use by/ expiry date on them and yes i mean the sealed ones

just to add the process that is used to make the sterile and seal them will only last for a certain period, after that they may be ok but that cant be 100% as microbs can start to grow. any one in the industry with a bio degree will tell you that.

thats why in the UK we have expiry dates on them, very strict

Probably a good way to make the junkies buy new pins.

I know there's an exp. date, but that doesn't mean that there not any good anymore. Maybe there's something I'm overlooking but I would use expired pins, no problems.

i know your most likely right and its just to protect themselves etc.. but i just dont like to take a chance, esp. when they are so cheap.

plus the method to make them sterile and sealed and only be Guaranteed for a set period after that there is a possiblity (note i said possiblity but can happen) that micro organisms can delvelop because the seal on the packaging for example may start to break down after a period of time, thus meaning the seal is broken.

Plus id just like to point out that these pins were brought 7 years ago!
