[Mods, please don't move this thread!]

I've screwed my knee (patella tendinitis) years ago and that kept me away from squatting for months
I've seen an ART who did quite a good job and I was able to squat again ( a couple of months ago)

But things have started to get bad again a few weeks ago and I can no longer back/front/box squat with a decent weight

Going back to the ART is an option but it's far from where I live and my insurance doesn't cover it.

I can see a "regular" chiroprator though

Do you think it's worth it ?

On a side note I'm doing GHR, pull through and DL to try not to overwork the quads and build a strong posterior chain, still my knee hurts

I had a lingering injury at the base of my foot last year and saw a chiropractor. My foot got better after two sessions with him.

My advice would be to try to have an open mind and see a chiropractor for one visit. If you think it helps, go for a follow-up.

Hope your knee gets better soon, any setback is a bitter pill to swallow.

I've been seeing a chiropractor for ages and I now only see him about every two months for a quick checkup and maintenance. They can be pretty amazing on the first couple of visits but I'd suggest that if they haven't done something remarkable to help you by then that it's not going to happen. I went through three different ones before I found one that made a difference. He also gave me a multitude of stretches to perform which have helped.

My problem was all lower back but, if you read through some of the chiropractor literature, they'd have you believe that the spine being out of kilter can cause just about any type of problem. I'd suggest give them a go but expect somethng reasonably immediate else know the reason why not.

Good luck with it.
