Cardio

Just curious guys. What's your choice of cardio or do you constantly rotate it? I haven't been on my training program for awhile but usually I change it everyday (different machines, times, pace, incline, etc). What do you feel works best for you? Overall I believe the treadmill and stepper work best for me (as well as including plyometrics/body weight into it such as lunges, pop squats, etc). :)

cardio? I do ride a bike or do the elliptical the final 4 weeks before a comp. usually 2 15min sessions before and after I train.

I use only running. Outdoors 99% of the time.
I love running outside but for some reason, I can only run in hot weather. My throat starts hurting me really bad. Even if it's 65 out. It's really weird and annoying. :(

Luckily we have great cardio equipment downstairs which makes it easier but still, I'd rather be outside.

that is strange. has it always been like that?
Are you referring to my post? Yeah - it's pretty much always been like this. No idea why. So I just work with it. I never have an issue inside unless the temp in the gym is messed up - but that's usually not the case.

I also just run at the moment. 2-3 miles usually 5-6x/week. I like the almost overnight results I get from running. Running however can be somewhat catabolic.

Previously when I was patient and concerned with losing the least amount of muscle possible I would just walk on the treadmill at a steep incline for 40 mins and that did the trick.

Oh I'm not the only one! LOL. It's weird because the days I do cardio, my body leans out extremely quick and I thought there was something wrong with me. I'm not complaining but this just started happening a few months ago. I could not work out for a week, and then do cardio one day and weight train and my body leans out a lot. No idea why though...

LOL. :) Hehe. Well when it's hot to me, that is. But yeah -isn't that weird? I hate it. My step mom can run outside in minus 0 temps!! It's nuts!!

I just drink horse urine.. doctors say just 1 cup burns as many calories as 2 hours of cardio

I shadow box infront of the ladies on the cardio machines. They seem to enjoy it.

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine.
In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion
