Carb Powder

I see that CytoGainer has "complex carbs" in their powder. How in the hell do they get non-sugar carbs, for the most part, into their powder and is there anywhere I can buy them myself. I don't feel like spending 50 bucks a month + the 30 for my other protein powder. I'm looking for a way to add carbs into my diet. Rice, yams, a lot of breads are out of the question for me.
 
Im assuming that you're looking for carbs for your PWO shake.

if you're looking for a real replenisher look for waxy maize starch by NP or HRS by PF

both are good.

if you want me to elaborate on how to these into your regimen let me know.

love honey... yea, put oats in, blend... that works.. if I want a thick pwo shake I'll blend fat free milk, liquid egg whites, banana, two tblspns peanut butter, and 1 scoop vannilla protein -

1 banana =

1 gram of protein
3 grams of dietary fiber
26.9 g carbohydrates


oh yeah -- bananas are prolly the cheapest thing you can buy at the store (I think I actually pay more for potatoes)...

just a thought, but if you are pressed for time and cant cook potatoes they can be eaten raw - just wash the dirt off and cut up into slices... This is easy and can be taken with you - good carb source if rice and breads are out...

1 potato =

110 calories
26 gram carbs (2g fiber, 1g sugars)
3 grams protein
