Can someone run through my insulin regime

So here it comes:

Humalog 30g pin

Using only on training days after a workout 10ius. first initial shot will be 6iu's.

5-10 minutes after injection I will consume 75 grams whey and 80 grams carbs in form of mrp. Total of 1 gram fat. After this I will continue to drink down a carb drink and will always have my glucose tabs on hand. I will also be mixing in 10 grams creatine a day while on. I am also using anavar and eq.


45 minutes later I will set down for a meal very low in fat, 50 + grams of protein 100 + carbs. I will also be eating slowly and have my glucose tabs on hand :D


I will be on 2-3 tabs of spiropent pre workout and also be using 50mcgs / day of t3. I will run the insulin for 4 weeks slowly tapering off the last week. Is it essential to taper?

Anything else I have missed out and time frames are out a little but I will be eating slowly but consistently. Would you change anything?

Careful even with lowfats... It is my experience that even 1-4g fat will hurt you... After 3 weeks of insulin i gained almost 4% bf... And felt terrible at the way i looked b/c of it... I later did it with humalog and 0gfat and didnt gain any fat... Just a word of warning
 
I used glutamine/creatine/simple carbs first, and then hit the protein/carb drink 30 min later. Not having protein in the first drink helps with the absorbtion of glutamine, and also allows faster entry of the carbs and creatine into your system. The addition of Glutamine almost eliminated next-day soreness... it was pretty weird.

Also this was with Humalin-R, and I took the shot and first drink 30 min before my workout was over.... I have not used Humalog, with that you definately should wait till you are done lifting to take the shot.

I got less fat gain when I worked out earlier in the day. Consuming all those carbs in the evening just doesn't mix well with staying lean... Also I read somewhere that elevated insulin levels at night will inhibit natural GH secretion.

BTW you might want to see if you can get by with just 25mcg t-3.... when you go to 50mcg and above you might lose some muscle fullness and strength (and also the lethargy thing).

animal recomends using metformin with all meals except post-workout, as this keeps insulin sensitivity up. Metformin can be nasty stuff though (digestive tract wise) so next cycle I will use ALA with every meal to help keep up insulin sensitivity.
 
that looks like a real good regimine. the only thing i would change is taking 20-30 more carbs after u take the insulin, especially when u get up to 10 u's. and again insulin isnt measured in iu's, it is measured in units.
 
Hey, IG...you will like humalog. Makes you put on size all over equally.
Couple things......... I've used insulin extensively., and tried all kinds of approaches. What works best for me is injecting 5 days, 2 off every week. Four weeks is a good start, but I have gone 12 without a problem. I would start at 4iu, till you see how humalog does you. It hits real fast. Work up an iu a day till you hit 10. You can go to a second dose, mid-AM if you want to go higher than 10 or 12 iu a day. This is easy with humalog.
I do best if I take the carb/creatine drink (I like Endurox)at 15 min. out, then 40 or 50 grams of straight protein at 45 min., and wait and eat a good meal at 1.5 hours out. You won't have to be so careful about what you eat.....much more enjoyable, and you will get bigger. If you are also using GH, you can really hit the calories.
It's not that scary.....I get hypoglycemic spikes every once in a while.......today, actually, but on these low doses, anything with sugar will fix it right away. OJ is great.
It's easy to recognize......I get a little shakey in the hands first, so I start sipping juice right away. If you are going somewhere, a tube of glucose in the pocket is simple. If you keep your carbs up all day, esp. something while you lift, the frequency of these spikes is nearly eliminated.

insulin is measured in units uuhhh international units uhhh also called IU'S

anyway yeah i like it ig sounds safe. i would consume the mrp at the time of injection with humalog. also you said 45 min later is that after injection or after mrp?

you will like the strength gains on this i gaurantee.

Also keep the protein for the second meal and add some glutamin/creatine in there for the first one.
 
Iron Game, I see no need to taper insulin. Really, i've even talked to my doctor about it, and he said there was no need to taper something like slin, cuz your body will go back to normal in no time anyway. IMO, get the most out of slin, but start out lite, like 2u, increasing 1u every day, until reaching 10u, then run at 10u until youre done, like 3-4 weeks.
