wow,that is exactly what i was going to say. i thought twice about posting because most say 'chins/pullups' but i have found in my unique case that it is rows in general that have built up my lats and the mind/muscle connection
 
I have found that standing bent over side DB raises (don't know the technical term for this, also seen as side lat raises) does a job on my lats. a job I say!
