Bros, I am unclear when it comes to creatine. Please clarify

I decided I want to try creatine out for the first time. I understand it will help you gain lbm due to the extra pump / edge it gives you during explosive exercise. Is this significant / noticeable AFTER you stop the creatnie? I understand I will lose a lot water and cell volume, however will I be as big as what I looked like on creatine, just real muscle?

Weird question , but from pers exp what do you think?
My diet is fine btw - im bulking, looking to pack on 10 lbs more.

stats if necessery
5'5
180lbs
10%bf

I aspire to reach 200lbs sometime. DO you think in 12 weeks, + creatine, will I reach this goal of 200lbs? I realize the 200lbs will contain a lot of water from the creatine, but I want to see 200 on the scale. Whats your opinion?

My personal expierence

Creatine helps. It doesn't pack on muscle but it simply allows you to put on some more by energizing your muscles with more ATP. I notice the volume of my muscles change when i'm on creatine. Your muscles should get bigger, but mine also get softer due to the water retention. When you go off you'll loose that extra water and get a bit smaller. Its just your muscles changing size

hope that helps some

I understand that. However, with the added pump I get, WILL I BE AS BIG AS I WAS WHILE ON CREATINE ONCE I GET OFF THANKS TO THE EXTRA EDGE IT GAVE ME?

Also, what do you think about my goals? Realistic?

you will get a little bit smaller when you get off than the size that you were when you were on. But you will be bigger than if you never took creatine at all.

Your question is a little fussy to me but i think i answered it

My personal experience with creatine was dissapointing. I did not notice much, if anything. Maybe more deep veins showing, but didn't gain any weight. That was almost 4 years ago. I am now integrating Nitro-tech bars in my diet. They have creatine in them(I"m not sure how much), but I don't notice much. Maybe a little deep veins showing. Not the veins you see in the mag's, but the just more greenish background, can't explain it. Anyway, that was my experience, hopefully yours will be more succesful. I was even taking 35-40 grams of it a day 4 years ago, and didn't gain any weight.

About 4 years ago, I used it for approx. 3 months and got basically no results. The first 6 weeks I used phosphogen HP, then the next 6-8 weeks I used plain creatine powder mixed with grape juice. Then it was just a hassle taking it, and I was not getting any results, so I quit. At that time I had a horrible diet, probably only about 25-30 grams of protein a day, low fat, and very high carbs. I had heard that may have been the reason I didn't get much from creatine, but my diet is fine now, and I am still not see'ing any results from the creatine in the Nitro-tech bars.

20lbs in 3 months is stretching it if u are natural of course. I dont know where I read this at but some doctor said that u can only put on 8lbs of solid muscle every year (naturally) I would say u could put on 20lbs in 3 months no problem just eat 4500cals a day (very clean) take your creatine,glutimine,vits,aminos,2g of protein per lb, and so on. and workout like a mofo. and cut back on cardio just a little. hope this helps bro!

Blood, I wouldn't expect those kinds of gains from creatine.

I've taken it on and off for years and have had good experiences with it. I take it with about half a cup of gatorade. My lifts always increase, and I always add size. But never more than say 5-10lb gains, half of which is water.

A lot of guys stay on it permanently. Myself, I prefer to cycle it, 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off. Usually at the end of eight weeks, I've added 8-10lbs. Then after going off, I'll drop half of that in water. But hell, thats 4-5lbs of good gains using a supplement for 8 weeks. To me, that's plenty worth it.

But again, don't expect AS-type results from creatine.
