Who?
What was she in?
it'll be interesting if they can find a COD
Brittany Murphy just died.

cardiac arrest and heart attack are two different things. Either way, she would more than likely have to be predisposed or just have terrible genetics, in which case she'd probably be on medication. I will jump to conclusions because she had a reputation as someone who used drugs.30 year olds can drop dead from a heart attack from natural causes too. Not as common but it happens. I would not jump to conclusions about it being drugs.
I really liked her.

She was pretty tiny
That is really sad, she was a great actress. I liked her personality in interviews.
There have always been rumors that she is a severe anorexic & has a coke problem. I wouldn't be suprised to find out it was a combination of anorexia & drugs. I could be wrong though. It will be interesting to see what the news reports about it in time.
I was going to say...drugs probably weakened her heart and anorexia (purging type) probably tipped the scales. My very first thought when I heard this news was that it had to do with her reported eating disorder.
I find it sketchy that the husband didn't want her to have an autopsy done though. Seems unnatural to not want to know why your loved one died so young.

maybe he knows why, the eating disorder and drugs. it seems very, very plausible that these were contributing factors and if she was a coc fiend, what would be the point.
i'm guessing valium/opiates and booze
She was kicked off her last moviue for "erratic behavior" - do the math. I wonder if doctors will get arrested and charged for using propofol like a certain other star!
c
LOL@ benzos and alcohol making you have a heart attack and die
CNS resp. death is what happens in that case(benzos, opiates and booze OD combo.
Not a heart attack.
Everyone dies of cardiac arrest at some point
just sayin'
Then again, I would imagine that respiratory arrest looks like cardiac arrest afterthe pt has been anoxic long enough and the vtach has ceased
I don't wish it on anyone but the poor girl didn't look to healthy for whatever reasons
rip
Titcr
Also, maybe her husband doesn't believe in mutilating a body after death. Some peeps consider a dead body sacred. Doesn't mean he did anything.

dumb and dumber??
i got dibs on just being dumb
Brittany Murphy's husband and mother made a frantic attempt to revive her before paramedics arrived ... this according to notes written by an investigator from the L.A. County Coroner's office. And, there were a shocking number of strong prescription meds on Brittany's nightstand.
TMZ has reviewed the documents, written by Investigator Blacklock. According to his notes, Brittany Murphy "had been complaining of shortness of breath and severe abdominal pain" for 7 to 10 days prior to her death. According to the notes, Murphy went into the bathroom at around 7:30 AM Sunday and shut the door.
A half hour later Brittany's mother, Sharon Murphy, went to check on her daughter, opened the bathroom door and "discovered the decedent lying on the floor unresponsive." According to the notes, Sharon yelled for help. Brittany's husband, Simon Monjack, who was in bed, heard the screams and ran to the bathroom.
According to the notes, Sharon called 911 and Simon "attempted to revive the decedent by placing her in the shower and running the water."
The notes continue -- "The decedent remained unresponsive and purged her stomach contents prior to the arrival of the paramedics."
When the paramedics arrived, Brittany was "without signs of life."
Paramedics moved Brittany from the bathroom to the master bedroom, where they found a slew of prescription drugs -- "A check of the nightstands revealed large amounts of prescription medication in the decedent's name. Also noted were numerous empty prescription medication bottles in the decedent's husband's name, the decedent's mother's name and unidentified third party names."
According to the notes, the medications included Topamax (anti-seizure meds also to prevent migraines), Methylprednisolone (anti-inflammatory), Fluoxetine (depression med), Klonopin (anxiety med), Carbamazepine (treats Diabetic symptoms and is also a bipolar med), Ativan (anxiety med), Vicoprofen (pain reliever), Propranolol (hypertension, used to prevent heart attacks), Biaxin (antibiotic), Hydrocodone (pain med) and miscellaneous vitamins.
The notes say, "No alcohol containers, paraphernalia or illegal drugs were discovered."
According to the notes, "The night prior to her death, the decedent had consumed some noodles, leftover Thai food, Gatorade, water and tea with lemon."
The notes also say Brittany had a history of hypoglycemia and was hospitalized in April 2009 for low blood sugar while on location in Oregon."
Monjack told the investigator during the 7 to 10 days prior to her death, Brittany complained of shortness of breath and severe abdominal pains but he was not overly alarmed because "she often suffered from severe menstrual pains."
The investigator spoke with police at the scene, who told him "foul play is not suspected."
pills found at the household ... lots and lots of pills![]()

weird......
might of actually of been MI
pulmonary embolism also comes to mind tho.....
it'll be interesting to see what the cause of death is
wonder what the biaxin and propanol was about tho
Out of all of those meds you interested in a macrolide and a non selective b blocker? Nobody prescribes propanalol for heart issues. Too many good beta blockers to choose from. It was likely a component of an anxiety treatment.
the puking after being moved is just making me curious... could be OD but women tend to have different symptoms for an MI
and puking made me think of frothing with abdominal pain had me thinkin a clot....
I had no idea the prop was used as essentially a sedative....
but then why a steroid in the mess?? the antibiotic, biaxin couldve been just for skin I guess
I just wonder if this will simple OD , you know? if there wasnt something else underlying
Was that why mrs Murphy was on it? I dunno, I didn't rx it.
What does that post have to do with propanalol?
What r her risk factors for pe and dvt?
And I've written for prednisone atleast 10 times this month. It's nothing special. Nothing in that med list is suspicious to me, especially for someone who has money and can dr shop. I hate it when people speculate about things like this, but we as a society seem to love to do it.
And the propanalol while mildly sedating is more likely to treat a tremor. Was that why mrs Murphy was on it? I dunno, I didn't rx it.
It's taken by actors and public speakers for stage fright
yeah, tremors would be embarressing.

I sometimes break out into a full body tremor during teh sechuals![]()
pretty sure she bought if from complications of H1N1
not yet, not officially
Id love for it to be more fun then an OD
this is why Im picking at it

lol
glad death can be so amusing for you SATAN!![]()
