How do you tell someone that you're just not into it anymore? Especially if she is?

Tell her straight up. She will hate you but if you are 100% straight then you will not have much drama afterwords regarding leading her on, giving her false hope etc.

Do not attempt to be friends with her. Cut all ties, she will get over it faster and not become a psycho.

Just accpet that she will call you a hell of a lot of names, but better than draging it on and wasting her time indefinitely.

Best thing is to keep the conersation simple, don't bog down in details but help her your girl see that you *both* deserve people with whom you truly match up with.. etc..

In the end as much as it might be hard for your girl to accept this, Better off with being honest otherwise if its done in a malicious way she'll be hurt even more.. ;) GOOD LUCK!

When you see her, be kind, caring and considerate.. Don't turn yourself away from her, listen to what she has to say.. You be honest but sensitive, though its hard, honestly salvage any possible future friendship :friends:

I always look at it like taking off a band aid, Would you rather do it fast or slow? Well, which one hurts more?..... Exactly, Get it over and done with, No one likes to get dumped but at least appreciate the truth when its over. (Don't mention if you've met someone either, If you have that is) That will hurt her.. Don't react if for whatever reason she gets mad! Stay calm..

Let me know what happens... ;)

Just a few things I've learned..

She moved into a new place - I still have to help her with a few things.

it's harder for me to deal with emotionally than I thought it would be.

Thats normal!! If it wasn't hard for you to deal with that shows you didn't care, love her.. etc,

But having the emotional pain is normal for anyone whos in your situation.. It just takes time.. Thats going to be your cure.

Build yourself back up, Cutting things off with a partner is emotional anyway.. things get hazy in a relationship.. It is your choice remember.. Theres a reason for you wanting to end this, Thats what you have to think about..

Are you 100% sure about this? After yr done helping her move her stuff, You will be enjoying your own company for a while.. try to take your mind off it, go out have fun and very soon you'll eventually feel better.. ;)

don't be a weasel about it. do it the right way and be completely honest. in the long run, even she will respect you for it.

You seem pretty cool.

I follow the Vincent Chase model of breaking up, don't. Too much hassle and that way they'll never get hurt. You just stop calling and move on. Eventually they will too.
