Lol, you guys. Man you all crack me up, this why I love EF. Nobody likes a braggart. The only time you should brag is at a job interview IMO. But maybe I can do a little bragging if you all don't mind because I've got something pretty cool going on tomorrow.
There's this organization that gives out a $7,500 scholarship to one student from each MBA program in Texas who they feel has the highest chance of being a Texas business leader and entrepreneur in the future. So the administration nominates 5 people from each school to be interviewed to win the scholarship. I told them I didn't think it would be right for me to win it b/c I don't have student loans I already got an academic scholarship, but apparently there are no restrictions on the money, they just hope someday it helps you start your own business! (that's pretty sweet, and smart of them if you ask me).
So I'm going out of town for a big banquet tomorrow night to accept it or whatever, but beforehand that day I get to have lunch with Lee Raymond (CEO of Exxon who just retired, under his leadership Exxon became the biggest company in the world). Man it will be exciting to speak with him. Very cool. Many of the past inductees will be there as well, you don't know most of them probably but they are guys like Boone Pickens, Jerry Jones, Norman Brinker, Ross Perot etc.. I don't get to have lunch with them specifically but they will be at the banquet dinner that night so I should be able to find lots of them milling around during happy hour!
KB don't sweat the small stuff! I'll try to remember about the request constipation thing, but I'm kind of an airhead.
