This movie is a disgrace to American veterans, and a bad film. Those japs did the same terrible atrocities that the Germans did. The difference is the Germans accepted the idea of fucking up where as these japs still refuse any responsibility. Hell, the japs think it is not their fault for going to war with America.

For once in my elitefitness history, i have to agree with dread lord guy...the japanese were and still are an evil government. Everybody in east asia hates them. They have (in history) invaded almost every country in the far east and have made them slaves at one time or another.

I know from my parents' stories, that when my grandparents were children, the japanese invaded South Korea and took over. THe schools, government, everything was turned into japanese. They made every school teacher teach japanese in the classroom forcing children to learn it as their new language, and also taught japanese propaganda to the kids. My grandmother was raised for a few years thinking that Japan was doing them a favor and was the superior nationality.

Actually guys and gals if the Japanese had not bombed Pearl Harbor we would have held out of the war by probably another 6 - 12 months. This would have given Germany and japan they needed to execute their plan to route through China to and Europe and meet in Iran. IF the axis coalition had achieved this result of forming a border from Norway To the middle of China to the coast and with control of the oil reserves in Iran/Iraq. Then WWII would have had a greater death toll and we might have had of nuked half the world, rather than two cities in Japan.

I don't see how the Japs attitude about Pearl Harbor has anything to do with not watching the movie.

I think this movie should be considered a tribute to the mem. of those who died there and given it some historical perspective for people today. I don't see why we should care what the japs think. We beat there ass once and now they can't do shit about it.

The only thing bad about the movie is that its told from a typical American only perspective. Just like the old war movies, they villainize the Japs as a subhuman crazed race of people that are out of their mind. I wonder how different it would be if told from a Japanese perspective. Very heroic and one of the most successful attacks in WWII history. Don't act like the Americans don't have shit behind their ears too, we've done some pretty terrible things that make Pearl Harbor look like a picnic.
